The guitar controller is working fine, but when I try to turn the drums on it won’t work. The connector and the lights on the drums keep blinking, but the drums won’t connect. Am I doing something wrong, or are the drums/connector defective? It’s for playstation 3 btw.

Try cutting the system and drums on at the same time. But you might have a defective one. that happen to me one time but instead of it being the drums it was the guitar. so try cutting it on at the same time, if that doesn’t work you might have a defective game

something similar happened to me. red pad was showing activity when I was hitting it, but it was not accurate. i tried calibration like 5 times and did not work at all. It was a nightmare because I thought i was really bad playing drums. any ways i returned to best buy and now the new one is working like a charm!!!
if that is not an option you can visit the manufacturer web page (red octane) and they will send you for free a MIDI-USB cable to plug the drum kit to your computer and try to calibrate it (download program available from that web site). sounds a lot to me, that’s why I returned it and took a new one.
