I just got a keyboard and I am trying to learn to how to play, but I am having trouble playing separate things with my right and left hand. How can I practice this? Playing the bass with my left and the rest with my right.

learn them seperately and then mix the hands together but try it very slowly so that you know you didn’t mess up.
that’s what i do at least. good luck!

Hmm that’s a tough one. Whilst you practice each hand separately try keep the beat in mind, so say you’re playing cdef keep the beat in mind, so 1234, da DA da DA, cDeF.
Then again keep the beat in mind when you play both hands together, you might have to play REALLY slowly at first, I know I used to be like, da…DA……….(which note, which note? are both hands right?)da…..DA.
It’s when the annoying phrase of ‘practice makes perfect’ comes into play. But you’ll get there =]
