Mine is a toss up between, A town called Malice and Another one bites the dust.. though I think I prefer A town called malices bass line more.
both simple, but both great.
I also enjoy Fleas bass lines as well, though I can’t really think of one that stands out for me.

Pretty much any bass line from Tim Commerford, bassist of Rage Against The Machine.

Overall, my favorite bass line is "Peace Sells" by Megadeth.
I love most everything played by Geddy Lee, John Myung, Chris Squire, Geezer Butler, Steve Harris, Victor Wooten, John Paul Jones, Marcus Miller, David Ellefson, Stanley Clarke, Roger Waters, Cliff Burton, and the deceased deity known as Jaco Pastorius.
I'm not saying Gene Simmons is one of the best bass guitarists ever, but I really like listening to him play, too.

She’s Lost Control by Joy Division. I didn’t even know it was a bass the first time I heard it… And of course anything by Flea, especially Can’t Stop and Dani California.

I like Flea’s bassline in If. The way it coordinates with the guitar sounds lovely.. without the bass the song would be pretty bare.

“Tommy the Cat” by Primus. I saw them live once. They opened for Rush. Les Claypool is crazy.
