What type of bass should I get?

Haha okay so:
I have had a Rogue bass that was 80$ for 6 or 7 years now. And Im thinking its about time to get a new one.
I was thinking Fender Jazz or something from OLP.
I was looking at 5strings, possibly fretless but thats no prob if its not.

Im looking for overall quality, nice sound, and nice tone.

Price range: 200-400$. I know thats not a lot but work with me here. Im not getting a musicman/ernieball so the next best thing is OLP.
