I want to get the full set of Guitar Hero World Tour but I only want to get the game of Rock Band 2. I am planning on getting them for Xbox 360. I want to know if the Guitar Hero World Tour instruments will work with Rock Band 2.

my best guess is a definite no. well the drums shouldnt… the guitar hero drums have 3 pads and two cymbals. rock band has 4 pads. or there is the rock band drums that has 4 pads and 4 cymbals.
the guitar and microphone may work on rock band 2 but the drums definitely wont

Ummm….. I think no. because they're different types of guitars. so u basically have to buy the rock band sets. =)

The world tour guitars probably will not work on rock band 2 due to the new touch pad system. Rock band controllers definitely will not work on guitar hero though. The drums are not interchangeable and the mics work on both.
