Will the controllers for Rock Band (1) work with Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii?

I know that on the xbox360 and the ps3 the controllers are supposed to work for either game. My question is for the Wii Only! I currently have Rock Band and I have pre-ordered Rock Band 2. However, if the Rock Band controllers will work with Guitar Hero: World Tour I want to get it also (My wife likes guitar hero better.)

      simply, no. they are working on some sort of patch that will allow it but at this time they will not work.

      yeah right now they don’t work for the wii which is a huge bummer because the ps3 and xbox 360 are compatible i’m sure that harmonix will clear things up pretty soon
